From the New York or Fairfield County areas: Go over the Throgs Neck Bridge Get onto the Hutchinson River Pkwy North, follow signs for the Merritt Parkway north to exit 52 (Rt 8 North) (alternate) Take Interstate 95 north to exit 27A (Rt. 8 North) Follow Rt 8 north to Waterbury Get onto Interstate 84 East Take I-84 east to Exit 31 At the end of the ramp turn left onto Rt. 229 Go exactly 5.5 miles and you will see a sign on the right side of the road that says "CLOCK MUSEUM" The sign will be pointing to a left turn for Woodland St. Turn left onto Woodland St Go through one stop sign After the stop sign you will climb a steep hill At the top of the hill turn left onto Founders Drive Founders Drive is a narrow country lane that does not have a street sign but it does have two red brick pillars on either side of the road. After turning left onto Founders Dr., the Chimney Crest Manor is the first house on the left side.

From Chimney Crest Manor to the Grist Mill Restaurant in Farmington: Recommended by your pilot Turn right onto Woodland Street Go to the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Rte. 229 (North) Go approximately 1 mile and turn right on Rte. 6 (East) Follow Rte 6 Approximately 3 Miles to the Intersection of Rte. 177 Do not turn onto Rte. 177 From Rte. 177, go 3 more traffic lights Turn left onto New Britain Avenue The Farmington Restaurant will be on your left Follow New Britain Avenue to 1st Stop Sign, turn right onto Meadow Road Follow Meadow to the 1st stop sign Go through the stop sign, make your next left onto Garden Street At the 1st stop sign on Garden, turn left into the Grist Mill parking lot.
